In this edition of the World of Reggae Music Collection the selector explores reggae cover versions of soul songs.  Reggae legends Ken Boothe, Toots & The Maytals, and Delroy Wilson have lots of soul and listeners can really hear that on some of these classic tunes. It makes sense that these Jamaican superstars paid tribute to the icons of soul music. The reggae greats often covered Marvin Gaye, Al Green, Gladys Knight & The Pips, Temptations, Stevie Wonder, Michael Jackson, Bill Withers, and Otis Redding. This collection includes the covers of old school crooners like Motown sensations Smokey Robinson and Four Tops to 80s soul diva Whitney Houston to the neo-soul singer John Legend.
